About Tresco

When a power grid fails or an airport is disrupted, the people solving it are sitting at something we’ve built.

We shape the environments where performance, ergonomics, and reliability are essential. Our sales process is structured, consultative, and relationship-driven – not transactional.

About the Role

This early-career, client-facing role is ideal for an individual with 1-3 years of professional experience who wants to build a long-term career in consultative sales.

As an Associate Account Executive, you will own the full sales cycle – from identifying new project opportunities and leading discovery conversations through pricing, contract negotiation, and close. Once a contract is secured, you will formally hand the project to our Project Management team for execution.

What You’ll Do
  1. Prospecting & Opportunity Development
  2. Research and identify upcoming infrastructure projects and facility upgrades
  3. Conduct strategic, personalized outreach to key stakeholders
  4. Qualify inbound leads and develop them into active opportunities
Discovery & Solution Development
  1. Lead structured discovery calls via phone and video
  2. Uncover operational, spatial, and technical constraints
  3. Collaborate with our design team to develop customized layouts and solutions
Pricing, Negotiation & Close
  1. Present pricing and guide clients through design decisions
  2. Navigate stakeholder alignment and procurement processes
  3. Lead contract discussions and close projects
  4. Maintain disciplined CRM documentation throughout the sales cycle
Transition to Execution
  1. After PO is received, ensure scope, client expectations, and key details are clearly transferred to our Project Management team
Travel
  1. Travel 3-5 days per month to client sites and industry events
  2. You will see how control rooms actually operate and build deeper client relationships

High performers grow into senior Account Executive roles with expanded responsibility and larger accounts.

This Role Is Built For People Who
  1. Have been told they ask too many questions (we think that is a strength)
  2. Want to learn a structured, consultative sales process – not just hit a number
  3. Are drawn to understanding how complex environments actually work
  4. Would rather build a relationship than rush a close
  5. Are comfortable leading conversations through pricing and negotiation
  6. Value preparation and follow-through over shortcuts
What Success Looks Like
  1. Build and manage a pipeline of qualified opportunities within your region
  2. Close your first project within your first 6–9 months (sales cycles vary)
  3. Develop relationships with end users, Engineers, integrators, and key stakeholders in your territory
This role is likely not a fit if you:
  1. Prefer short sales cycles and quick closes
  2. Are looking for an inbound-only or highly transactional sales role
Qualifications
  1. Must reside within approximately 1 hour of a major international airport
  2. 1-3 years of professional experience in sales, client-facing, or project-based roles
  3. Strong written and verbal communication skills
  4. Ability to travel within North America (typically 3-5 days per month)
  5. Reliable high-speed internet and professional home office setup
Technical Aptitude – Bonus

No engineering background required – we provide full technical and sales training. If you have worked in architecture, AV/IT systems, construction, facilities, engineering, or technical customer support, you will pick this up faster.

Compensation & Benefits
  1. $50,000-65,000 base salary + uncapped commission
  2. On-target earnings (OTE) typically $65,000-80,000+ in year one
  3. Health, dental, vision, and wellness benefits + Paid Time Off
  4. Structured onboarding includes paid consultative sales training – we invest in building your skills, not just assigning a quota
  5. Home-office hardware suite provided
About the Role

We’re hiring a full-stack developer to build AI-powered tools and automations that streamline how our business operates, from sales workflows to project handoffs to operational reporting. You’ll work directly with our team to identify high-impact problems and build solutions from scratch.

This isn’t maintaining legacy systems or writing tickets. It’s greenfield work: take a messy business process, figure out how AI and modern tooling can fix it, and ship something that works. Full stack, end-to-end, with real autonomy.

You’ll sit with our operations and sales teams, understand their friction points, and engineer scalable software that allows Tresco to scale its mission-critical work. Think of it as building the internal operating system for a manufacturing company, custom CRM, project management, reporting, and AI-driven automation all under one roof.

Core Competencies
Frontend
  1. Proficiency with a modern JavaScript framework (React or similar)
  2. Ability to build clean, functional dashboard UIs
  3. Comfortable with REST API integration and TypeScript
Backend & API
  1. Experience designing and building scalable REST APIs
  2. Python or Node.js (TypeScript) backend development
  3. Familiarity with async task processing and background jobs
Database
  1. Strong SQL fundamentals — schema design and query optimization
  2. Experience with at least one ORM
  3. Familiarity with caching layers (Redis or similar)
AI/LLM Integration
  1. Hands-on experience integrating LLM APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI, or similar) into real projects — not just tutorials
  2. Understanding of prompt design, structured extraction, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)
  3. Experience building agents or automations that handle real business workflows
DevOps & Infrastructure
  1. Comfort with Docker and containerized development environments
  2. Experience deploying to at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  3. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
Core Responsibilities
  1. Audit manual workflows across departments and translate them into automated software solutions
  2. Design database schemas and API structures to centralize manufacturing operations
  3. Architect a custom CRM and project management platform tailored to critical infrastructure manufacturing
  4. Build and integrate LLM-based tools to automate document analysis, project estimation, and reporting
  5. Work directly with non-technical teams to understand problems and ship working solutions
What We’re Looking For
  1. 4+ years of professional full-stack experience
  2. Strong background in database design and API architecture
  3. Comfortable working in a greenfield environment without detailed specs
  4. Has shipped things end-to-end — not just individual components
  5. Uses AI tools as a regular part of how they work
  6. Can talk to non-technical people about their problems and translate that into software
What matters most

How you learn new skills and your drive to take on self-directed projects. We want someone who experiments, builds on their own time, and doesn’t wait to be taught.

Why work at Tresco Consoles

  3. Opportunities to grow your career across manufacturing, design, project management, and marketing.
  4. The satisfaction of seeing your work directly support critical infrastructure projects across North America.
