About Tresco Consoles

Tresco Consoles designs and manufactures high-end control room furniture for energy providers, security operations centers, airports, and other mission-critical facilities across North America.

We are a growing Calgary-based team known for quality, innovation, and long-term client relationships.

About the Role

This is an early-career, client-facing role where you will play an important part in the initial phase of our sales cycle. Success requires clear, confident communication and comfort speaking with new people.

What You’ll Do
  1. Speak with organizations and critical infrastructure clients across North America
  2. Lead structured discovery calls (phone + video)
  3. Work with designers to create custom proposals and layouts
  4. Present pricing and guide clients through early design decisions
  5. Track opportunities and communications in our CRM
  6. Travel occasionally to client sites and industry events across North America
You’ll Be a Great Fit If You Are
  1. A confident and clear verbal communicator (English)
  2. Curious and eager to learn how technical environments and critical systems work
  3. Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
  4. Comfortable reaching out to new people and building rapport
  5. Motivated to build a long-term career in consultative sales
Qualifications
  1. Minimum qualifications:
  2. Must currently live in Canada
  3. Must reside within reasonable commuting distance of a major airport (e.g., YYC, YEG, YVR, YYZ, YUL)
  4. Strong spoken English
  5. Ability to travel occasionally within North America
  6. Reliable high-speed internet and a quiet, professional home office
  7. Post-secondary education
Technical Aptitude (Bonus, Not Required)

You do not need engineering or design experience; we’ll provide full training.

However, candidates tend to excel when they have some comfort level learning how technical products work and explaining them clearly to non-technical clients.

Experience or exposure in any of the following is an asset (but not mandatory):

  1. Architecture or interior design
  2. Engineering (any discipline)
  3. Audio-visual or IT systems integration
  4. Construction, drafting, or technical customer support
  5. Any role where you had to learn a technical concept and communicate it clearly
  6. Customer facing role
