About Tresco Consoles

Tresco Consoles designs and manufactures world-class control room furniture for mission-critical environments, like security operations centers, utilities, refineries, and transportation hubs. With over 2,000 installations worldwide, our Calgary-based team has built a reputation for precision, ergonomics, and visual impact.

This role offers an opportunity to join our expanding team, driven by company growth and promotions.

About the Role

We’re seeking a curious and professional Account Executive who is eager to learn and grow.

You’ll connect with organizations that operate the systems behind modern life: Energy companies, transportation networks, and security operations – and help them design control rooms that make their work easier and safer.

No prior sales experience is required. You’ll receive hands-on training in consultative, relationship-based sales and full support from our team of designers, engineers, and experienced sales executives who will help you learn and grow.

Sales isn’t for the faint of heart. Many of the calls and emails you make won’t be returned – and that’s part of the process. If you stay curious, persistent, and focused on helping people, you’ll thrive here. Our success comes from being consistent, building trust, and closing impactful, high-value projects.

What You’ll Do
  1. Build relationships with clients across energy, utilities, security, and transportation sectors.
  2. Lead discovery calls and site visits to understand project needs.
  3. Work with our design and project management teams to develop tailored proposals.
  4. Prepare and present quotations and technical documents.
  5. Manage opportunities in our CRM and follow up through each project stage.
  6. Represent Tresco at industry events and client meetings (some travel required)
Who You Are

You’ll thrive in this role if you’re:

  1. Curious – eager to learn how things work and explore new industries
  2. Personable – comfortable communicating with people at all levels
  3. Organized – detail-focused, with strong follow-through
  4. Resilient – success takes persistence. You’re comfortable doing the work – making calls, following up, and staying engaged – even when it doesn’t pay off right away.
  5. Growth-oriented – motivated to learn new skills and build a lasting career
What We Offer
  1. Full training and mentorship in consultative sales
  2. Competitive base salary ($50-65K) plus commission
  3. Comprehensive health coverage, including vision care and a yearly wellness stipend for massage, physio, or similar services
  4. Travel and exposure to leading companies and critical infrastructure projects
  5. A supportive, professional culture focused on quality, learning, and integrity.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Post-secondary education (business, design, or technical field) is an asset.
  2. Customer-facing or B2B experience (asset, not required)
  3. Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience using CRMs such as HubSpot is a plus.
Job Type: Full Time
Pay: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
Benefits:
  1. Work from home
  2. Casual dress
  3. Dental care
  4. Life insurance
  5. Paid time off
  6. Vision care
  7. Wellness program
