Named for purpose
For years, our 1200, 2400, 3600, and 6000 series have proudly powered some of the most demanding control room environments in North America. These numbers represented our engineering evolution, but they didn’t always reflect the unique challenges our clients faced.
Over time, they began to feel more like part numbers than purposeful control room solutions. As our projects became more complex, our control room consoles more strategic, and our clients more diverse, we knew it was time for a change.
Today, we’re proud to introduce a new lineup of mission-driven control room consoles:

This is a strategic redefinition of how we conceive, communicate, design, build, and deliver the right solution for the right environment.
Why the change?
Numbered series served us well when product tiers were more linear. But modern control room projects demand something different. Operators, integrators, and project managers don’t just want “bigger” or “better”, they demand solutions tailored to the mission at hand, with clear differences in workflow, customization, and deployment speed.
Tresco has never been just about control room furniture, we’ve always been about fit.
Not just in dimensions, but in purpose, workflow, and mission-critical alignment. And as we took on larger, more complex projects with tighter timelines and more stakeholders, it became clear we needed a product lineup that didn’t just scale, but spoke.
We chose names with meaning, names that reflect what each console line does, stands for, and delivers. This shift to the named product lines AEGIS, NEXUS, and VANGUARD, is about making that clarity real, rooted in the environments they’re designed for:

From the Latin nectere, meaning “to bind or link,” NEXUS signifies a powerful point of connection, where people, systems, and technology converge. But for us, it means even more. NEXUS fuses the capabilities of our former 2400 and 3600 series into one versatile platform. As our most customizable and widely adopted console, it represents the center of control, modular, scalable, and built for collaborative command environments that never stand still. - VANGUARD leads with precision in high-stakes, performance-intensive industries.
From the French avant-garde, meaning “forefront,” VANGUARD is defined by leadership, innovation, and readiness to act. Purpose-built for immersive, high-performance environments, this console leads from the front, where focus drives every decision.
